POOR NICKELBACK. THEY just can’t catch a break. The notoriously-unloved Canadian rock band have run into yet another barrier to popularity. One man is looking to raise $1000 on Kickstarter to dedicate his time to ensure that Chad Kroger and co will never perform in his hometown of London, ever again.
Craig Mandell is now accepting donations for his Don’t Let Nickel Back campaign, and plans to send emails to the band’s management depending on how much you give.
$5 is slightly more forceful, $10 is explicit, and $50 will send some Nickelback music back to Nickelback. $33 dollars has been raised so far, with 29 days do go.
Mandell writes:
Just imagine, thousands, perhaps tens of thousands of music lovers, all not witnessing an exclusive concert by Nickelback in London. It will be glorious. Legendary. Dare we say, game changing?
