Dougie Poynter is now in a band that isn't McFly and it's certainly very different
DOUGIE POYNTER HAS released an EP with new band INK.
Now, you’re probably like, “wtf? Was he not in McFly? And then later in the noughties teenage wet-dream supergroup McBusted?” And you’d be right. But he’s at other things now, and it’s time to move on Sharon.
Dougie’s teamed up with his two mates Todd Dorigo – a former solo artist who has toured with The Libertines’ Carl Barat – and drummer Corey Alexander, for INK’s debut EP ‘Heaven’.
Ok, but how’s it different from McFly?
INK.’s music sounds nothing like anything they lads have done before … And as it turns out, they can’t describe it themselves.
The lads told 1883 Magazine:
Fair enough.
They also might be touring, so keep your eyes peeled for live dates.
There’s another EP coming later in the year, but for now, listen to ‘Heaven’ here.
