YOU THOUGHT YOU were having a bad day? At least you’re not this guy.
Last night, a man decided to drive down the ramp to Dunquin Harbour in Kerry – you know the one, the really narrow, steep one often depicted on postcards?
Well, he got stuck. Really stuck.
All ferries to the Blasket Islands had to be cancelled this morning as no one could access the pier – according to the Irish language website Tuairisc.ie, the man had been hoping to camp down there, but instead spent the night in his car.
Earlier this afternoon, Blasket Island Ferries confirmed that the car had been towed away in a short post on their Facebook page:
The car has been freed, thank god. Thanks to Kerry County Council for all their help.
And the man was never seen in Kerry again…
