THE DUBLIN MARATHON kicked off earlier this morning, with close to 20,000 runners following the route from Fitzwilliam Square to Stillorgan and back again.
Given the day that’s in it a lot of the participants have chosen to dress up for the marathon – but one runner in particular is standing out from the crowd.
It might be because he’s wearing a giant replica of the Eiffel Tower over his running gear.
The as-yet unidentified runner has been delighting race-watchers on his journey across the city this morning, and everyone is greatly admiring his gumption.
Running a marathon is hard enough, but running it with France’s most famous tourist attraction on your back? That takes balls.

Fair feckin’ play to ya, Eiffel Tower Man, and best of luck to all the runners!
