A Dublin pub's staff bought one of their regulars headphones to watch matches in peace

A sound gesture, literally.

ANYONE WHO’S BEEN to P Mac’s pub on Dublin’s Stephen Street Lower knows that it’s a cosy spot with some banging tunes and craft beer as far as the eye can see.

It’s not necessarily the first place you would think of for watching a match, but one regular loves it so much that he always goes there for games.

So last night the staff members bought him a pair of wireless headphones so that he could hear the commentary amid the music

Just what you need when you’re trying to catch the detail

Brendan McGettigan, who was there last night and snapped one of the photos, told DailyEdge.ie that everyone who worked at P Mac’s contributed:

They had them behind the bar. Staff said they all chipped in and it was their Christmas present to him. The staff all made a fuss when giving it to him. He was made up. Said he comes in for all the games.

Sound out.
