A DUBLIN CITY council committee will meet today to discuss a proposal to rename the Millennium Spire after Nelson Mandela.
Lord Mayor Oisín Quinn said the suggestion originally came from a member of the public.
However, this suggestion hasn’t gone down well on Twitter. Here’s what users would prefer the Spire to be named after.
1. This guy wants a sporting hero
2. This guy captured the spirit of the times
3. This person is aiming for high literature
4. This individual has a clever suggestion
5. This guy won’t enjoy popular support
6. But this guy might
7. And finally, this person has some ACTUAL ideas…
