LAST AUGUST, THE Irish National Wax Museum unveiled their sculpture of Conor McGregor.
Although it looks like it might have been based on a photo of the MMA fighter when he was in bed with Aussie flu, at least the National Wax Museum will always be able to say that they were the very first wax museum to have a sculpture of McGregor.
So naturally, they were a bit irked when Madame Tussauds Blackpool were boasting on Facebook about having the world’s first Conor McGregor wax sculpture.
So they dropped Madame Tussauds a comment.
Madame Tussauds were adamant they still had the first Conor McGregor waxwork. Once Conor McGregor’s dad liked it, that’s all that matters.
However, there is a pretty noticeable difference between the two sculptures.
Let’s just say the National Wax Museum’s version has a little more… Character.
