This Korean Youtuber explained Dublin dialect in the most wholesome way
KOREAN YOUTUBER ‘KOREAN Billy’ just loves educating the world on different dialects.
He tackled the likes of Manchester, Liverpool, Glasgow and Newcastle, and now he’s given Dublin the Youtube treatment.
His attempts at explaining phrases such as what’s the craic, I’m Lee Marvin, and a ‘pack of crips’ is surprisingly wholesome.
He starts off with the basic, what’s the craic?
Just after explaining that it’s not the same as a crack in the wall.
Before taking on some of the most niche Dublin slang
His explanation of a bag of crisps is the most questionable
Surely is a packet of crips?
He then goes on to say we drink a lot, so you can expect to see a lot of ‘banjoed’ people in Dublin, but that you should join in
Before finishing up with ‘deadly’, which is not a marker of death, as most of the world might assume
Good effort all round. Spread the word far and wide, Billy.
