A Sligo car dealership found a mystery €200 note so they're giving it to a local charity

With the help of nominations on their Facebook page.

LAST THURSDAY, KEVIN Egan Cars in Carraroe, Sligo took back one of their rental cars and were cleaning it up when they made a little discovery.

Tucked away in a little nook was a mystery €200 note that nobody has since claimed.

So they decided to stick it up on Facebook and get people to recommend a local charity to give it to this Christmas

There’s been thousands of nominations in the comments already, as the post went viral over the weekend. They wrote:

We found this in our loan car this week tucked away where someone would had to of put it! It could be there years ! No one has claimed it
Comment a charity below of your choice and share the post and we’ll pick one at random on Monday and donate to that charity

They pick the winner later today, and it’ll be a nice little boost in the run up to Christmas – and might inspire a few others to give just as generously in the coming weeks.
