The Christmas tree isn’t even down yet.

FOR MANY PEOPLE, today is a day of deep sadness.

The holidays are over, and we’re all back to work. Normality! How dull!

People are checking hotels for new year specials and basically prepping their next escape from reality to get them through the day.

Well, FEAR NOT. Your next few days off are just around the corner.

Even better, it falls on April Fool’s Day this year.

Is this why Tesco are having a laugh with their Easter stock this year?

They’ve already got their full Easter chocolate display in the aisles

In case you’re still a bit confused over what day of the week and what date it is, it’s Tuesday January 2nd.

Yet here we are, in a world filled with Easter Eggs.

Tesco told DailyEdge.ie that this is just a ‘small selection’ to tide us over until closer to Easter.

We stock a small range of Easter eggs in selected stores to cater for customers who prefer to stock up early or to buy them over a period of time to help spread the cost. The full Easter Egg range will not be in stores until later this year.

Is it too early? Or should we all just relax?

Poll Results:

It's far too early (1470)
Don't care (190)
No, it's just more chocolate to enjoy (104)
