TODAY, IF YOU are an adult human spending the Easter weekend with your parents, youâre in one of two camps.
Either your parents still get you an Easter egg (and force you to go on a hunt to find it):
Or your parents decided at some point that youâre âtoo oldâ to get an Easter egg, and youâre a bit miffed about that.
(Of course, you could also be in the secret third camp which is for people who donât care if they get an Easter egg or not. In that case, good for you.)
Letâs weigh up the arguments here. The whole Easter egg tradition is ostensibly for children, despite the increasing number of âluxuryâ eggs available out there.
On the other hand, this is a very valid point:
Over to you. Are you ever too old to get an Easter egg off your parents?
