Eating with the fishes: Shark tea party in London Aquarium
TEA PARTIES DON’T usually come with this amount of risk.
Aquarists – that’s someone who keeps or maintains an aquarium, fact fans – held a tea party with sharks in the London Aquarium earlier today. A tea party. With sharks.
Apparently the aim of it was to “challenge the perception of them as monsters of the sea”. Sharks, not aquarists.
The tank contained nurse sharks, brown sharks, a zebra shark, and the fantastically-named Bowmouth Guitar Shark. We’ll avoid making any dodgy shark-related puns however and instead show you all of the pics:
