Ed Balls himself joined in on Ed Balls Day celebrations earlier

So it’s officially become too commercial.

TODAY MARKED THE fourth anniversary of this immortal tweet sent by British MP Ed Balls.

Yes, April 28th is now unofficially known as Ed Balls Day on the internet and many celebrated it with aplomb.

However, this also marked the year that Ed Balls Day officially became COMMERCIAL.

*gasp*

There were posters commemorating the tweet.

The Liberal Democrats marked the occasion with a bespoke quiz.

And, worst of all, Ed Balls himself joined in on the celebrations.
