STRICTLY COME DANCING is only in its second week, but we may have already been treated to the performance of the season.
Former Labour MP Ed Balls is one of the contestants on the latest season of Strictly Come Dancing.
You may remember Ed Balls from that one time he inexplicably tweeted his own name and then lived off of it for five years.
Last night, Balls performed a Charleston while wearing dungarees and playing a banjo.
It was quite… something.

It quickly became a meme of sorts.

Just call him Cotton Ed Balls.

Even though it was a little bit cringey, viewers at home were absolutely living for it.
Andy Murray’s Mam deemed it “great fun”.
So now.
Ed scored just 23 points for the performance which leaves him in last place, but at least he has won the hearts and minds of people at home
Whoops!

Good man, Ed.
