AS WE ALL know, Ed Sheeran did the unthinkable, and managed to sell over 300,000 tickets for his Irish stadium tour.
And honestly, fair play to him. No begrudgery here.
But c’mere, that’s an awful amount of tickets, when you think about it.
With two new dates at Parc Uí Chaoimh in Cork and Phoenix Park in Dublin just announced, that number is expected to increase to just over 400,000.
400,000 people …
That’s roughly the population of Canberra
If you gave everyone attending the gig a euro, they’d cover the cost of one of Obama’s speeches

It’s how many people it took to get Apollo 11 on the moon
According to this book anyway.
Could Ed set his sights on the moon next?
Can’t imagine people queuing up for that gig.
It’s the amount of soldiers that were stranded on Dunkirk according to Christopher Nolan
Grim enough.
There’s 400,00 volts in this taser gun – one for every person if they get out of hand
No pushing to get to the barrier. You’ve been warned.
If you multiplied (see what I did there?) his Instagram followers by 34 and a quarter, you’d get his tour attendees
His Instagram followers are slacking, clearly.
400,000 people followed Jedward on Twitter in 2011
They made this legit – and utterly bizarre – video to celebrate.
It’s how many minutes there are until the tour starts on May 4th
Well, give or take a few days … And not that anyone’s counting, or anything.
