Ed Sheeran's Cork gigs kick off tonight and the entire city has completely lost the run of itself

They’re baking cupcakes, ringing bells and changing radio station names.

IN CASE YOU have been living in the sea, Ed Sheeran is coming to Cork city to play 3 gigs over the weekend. This is a pretty big deal for Cork with reports of booked out hotels and restaurant reservations at sky high levels. They haven’t been this excited since Kerry lost the All Ireland final to Dublin in 2015.

The city is gearing up for what will be some fab nights but some of the locals have lost the run of themselves in the excitement.

He arrived last night in a grand fashion.
