Ed Sheeran's neighbours are going ape over the "wildlife pond" at his gaff... it's The Dredge

Your daily dose of dirt.

EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.

Khloe Kardashian is gearing up for her daughter’s first birthday next month, but the jury’s still out on whether Tristan Thompson will be attending.

Khloé is trying to work out the best way to celebrate True’s first birthday after Thompson was accused of hooking up with Jordyn Woods, a longtime friend of the famous family.

A source claims Khloé’s family members — in particular sister Kim Kardashian West — are furious with the basketball player, who was first caught allegedly cheating on Khloé last year when photos and videos surfaced of him getting close to other women just days before she gave birth to their daughter.

“Kim never trusted Tristan after he cheated on Khloé right before True was born,” the source says. “Ever since, it’s been very difficult for Kim to even tolerate Tristan. But she really tried her best because it was important for Khloé.”

[Kim] feels there is no chance she will keep it together and not lose it on him. Kim is beyond angry with him.
Khloé is figuring out how to get Tristan involved. She can’t see how he can be around her family at a party, though. Everyone is just too upset with him.”

Ed Sheeran’s neighbours are fuming with the singer over the, eh, “pond” he had built on to his Suffolk estate.

The singer won permission for the water feature on the basis that “recreational leisure such as swimming” was specifically banned. However, aerial photos seem to show a diving jetty, what looks like a changing room and a set of steps going into the “pond”.

Is that for the frogs Ed, yeah?

Ed’s planning application for the pond said it was to “support nature conservation… providing a natural habitat for breeding and wetland invertebrates such as dragonflies and water beetles, as well as providing a source of drinking water to birds and mammals.”

In 2016, officials made it clear the pond would have “no other uses” and that it definitely would not be used for “recreational leisure such as swimming.”

East Suffolk council gave permission for the jetty and steps after they were “to enable access to the pond in the event of maintenance and emergency.”

Sheeran’s neighbours are convinced they are for a swimming pool, however, and have written to planning officials to complain.

One, Tony Robinson, said: “I believe that the development of the site is more about creating an environment for a ‘wild lifestyle’ rather than the actual ‘wild life’.”

C’mon guys – surely there’s no need to go tit for tadpoles on this? (Sorry.) (The Sun)

Finally, after  just getting engaged, Alex Rodriguez has been dogged by cheating rumours. Luckily, fiancé Jennifer Lopez doesn’t give a shite about them.

A-Rod’s former teammate Jose Canseco accused Alex of cheating on J.Lo.

“[Jennifer] has heard the cheating rumors in the past and has never let it bother her,” a source said this week.

“She trusts [Alex] and his love. They are inseparable and together almost all of the time. Jose Canseco has an axe to grind, but she doesn’t hear the noise.”

So, there you go. (Cosmopolitan)
