Here's how Ed Sheeran's cameo on The Simpsons went down with viewers
ED SHEERAN APPEARED on The Simpsons last night for his much-anticipated cameo.
FOX FOX
Ed played a musician in a La La Land parody, Haw-Haw Land.
Get it?
Basically, the plot is simple. Lisa drags the family along to the local STEM conference, where she hears Ed’s character, 11-year-old Brendan Beiderbecke playing the piano.
The two of them hit it off, but he’s completely wrong for her and fond of mansplaining. Being a young girl, Lisa overlooks it. In comes Nelson, to make it an all-singing, all-dancing love triangle that you can’t help but enjoy.
FOX FOX
But what did the audience think of it?
Well, the usuals weren’t impressed
But it didn’t go down quite as bad as his Game of Thrones cameo
Whoops!
We couldn't find this Tweet
Truly, an inspired combo.
