HOLD ON A second. Ed Sheeran posted a photo of his lion tattoo at the beginning of the month, and fans went wild.

The body art was to commemorate his sold out Wembley gigs, but fans were shocked by just how… big… it was.

Today, he posted this suspicious image to Instagram, with the caption ‘Was only joking about the lion’.

People are finding it a bit hard to cope with this supposed act of betrayal

Doesn’t that look a bit like a hairy chest matted in make-up?

It would make sense, as Ed is currently filming scenes for The Bastard Executioner so might have been ordered to cover them up.
