OutKast, Beck and Portishead to headline Electric Picnic 2014

OUTKAST, PORTISHEAD and Beck have been announced as headliners of this year’s Electric Picnic festival.

Chic, Lily Allen and the Pet Shop Boys will also take the stage this August alongside St Vincent, Paolo Nutini, Simple Minds, and The Stranglers.

Here’s the full lineup:

The festival will take place in Stradbally, Co Laois from Friday August 29 to Sunday August 31 this year.

Tickets go on sale at 7pm tonight.

Until April 18, anyone who has been to three or more Picnics in the past will be able to buy discount tickets priced €154.50 through the festival’s loyalty scheme.

People who’ve attended two Picnics will get tickets for €174.50. Meanwhile, newbies will pay €194.50.

The loyalty discounts will end on April 18, and after July 4 all weekend tickets will cost €229.50.
