Ellie Kelly's new collection with Misspap just launched - but what's the craic with the sizing?
AS IRISH INFLUENCERS go, Ellie Kelly is a big deal.
The makeup artist 167k followers on Instagram, 67k subscribers on YouTube, and has no shortage of brand collaborations to her name (her BPerfect lip kits have proven extremely popular among the beauty community.)
To cap off 2018, she’s just released her own range with clothing site Misspap.
How bad.
However, some fans have been left disappointed by the limited sizing of the range, with sizes only going up as far as size 12.
“Anyone else slightly disgusted that Ellie Kelly’s range with Miss Pap doesn’t go past a size 12?” one fan tweeted.
Now, it’s worth noting that this an issue which isn’t unique to Ellie’s collection. All of Misspap’s clothes come between the sizes of 6 and 12, with some items being sized as S, M and L.
It’s a fair criticism, given that 2018 has been a year when diversity and size representation has been promoted more heavily than ever, especially within the fashion and beauty industries. Undoubtedly, there is still a long way to go for both, and this issue is clearly evidence of that.
DailyEdge.ie has contacted both Misspap and Ellie Kelly for comment on the matter.
