Emily Blunt made John Krasinski cry during her SAG Awards speech... it's The Dredge
EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
Name a more iconic duo?
Emily Blunt had picked up nominations left, right and centre at last night’s SAG Awards (that’s ‘Screen Actor’s Guild, just FYI.) However, her win for Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Supporting Role in ‘A Quiet Place’ was undoubtedly the cherry on top.
During her speech, she shouted out hubby John Krasinki who she starred alongside with.
“I’m so moved and completely lost for words and unprepared,” she said onstage. “I am going to share this completely with my husband, John, because the entire experience of doing this with you has completely pierced my heart directly.”
Cue John Krasinki struggling not to bawl. And honestly? Same TBH.

Vicky Pattison has said she’s too “fragile” at the minute to deal with an inbox full of “dick pics” at the minute. Same, TBH.
The reality star recently broke off her engagement to John Noble after cheating allegations surfaced. Naturally, men think now is the appropriate time to initiate a DM slide.
“I forgot what it’s like to be single. It’s scary! My DMs are a disgrace!” she told OK Magazine.

Finally, there was a right ol’ barney at the National Television Awards between ITV’s reality stars earlier this week.
Former TOWIE star Ferne McCann has been accused of throwing a drink at Love Island’s Adam Collard and Zara McDermott. However, she’s now claimed the pair subjected her to “abuse and intimidation” over her young daughter, Sunday.
Posting a statement on Twitter, the former Towie star wrote: “To be clear I have never thrown glass at anyone.
“I am not proud of reacting the way I did to the serious abuse and intimidation I was subjected to and I should not have thrown a drink.
“However I am not sure how someone who said the things he did about my daughter and me is seeking to portray himself as a victim.”

Zara hit back on Instagram with her own statement, saying: “Just to be clear I witnessed this entire incident and this statement is a complete lie.” Eeek.
She added: “My partner would NEVER in a million years verbally abuse someone’s CHILD. I am seriously offended by this allegation as it’s a complete lie which has upset me a lot.
Adam’s since threatened to release the CCTV footage of the night as the police continue to investigate the incident. (The Sun)
