EMINEM HAS BEEN confirmed as the second headliner for Slane Castle in Co Meath next year.

The rapper, who is now forty, will be heading to Lord Mountcharles’ nice pile of bricks on August 17 2013.

Tickets priced €79.50 will go on sale next Wednesday 19 December at 9am. Support acts for the one-day event have yet to be announced.

Back in 2005 Eminem cancelled his concert at Slane after he pulled his entire European tour because of “exhaustion, complicated by other medical issues”.

Bon Jovi are also playing at Slane Castle next summer.

Eminem last played in Ireland at Oxegen 2010, so this will be his first trip back in over three years.
