Eoghan Quigg's Eurovision effort gets a helping hand from Mrs Brown
FORMER X FACTOR star Eoghan Quigg currently the favourite to represent Ireland in this year’s Eurovison Song Contest.
But the Eurosong hopeful has just gotten himself another large boost over the other entrants – he’s is being supported by none other than Mrs Brown herself.
Brendan O’Carroll is bringing Mrs Brown on an Australian live tour, and has pledged to play Quigg’s entry The Movie Song before every show.
In case you missed it, here’s what an estimated 350,000 Australian Mrs Brown fans will be hearing before curtain up:
So far, so good for Eoghan, but the battle isn’t over yet.
He’s facing up against Patricia Roe and her self-penned song Don’t Let Go, traditional group Can-linn with their tune Heartbeat, Voice of Ireland alum Andrew Mann’s effort Be Mine and Laura O’Neill’s ballad You Don’t Remember Me.
The winning song will be chosen on this Friday’s Late Late Show – please TRY to contain your excitement until then.
