THIS PHOTO SHOWS an escalator being lifted to the top of the new One World Trade Center in lower Manhattan.

Confused by the perspective? According to one commenter after the photo was posted on Reddit by user jacknappier:

The escalator is being lifted by a crane on top of World Trade Center 1 (Freedom Tower). The camera is in the building. The building in view is one of the other trade center buildings (WTC 4), the one on the right in this picture.

If you feel vaguely sick at the thought of the heights involved in this photo (like we do), you may wish to have a little sit down.
