Someone set up a Facebook event for a session in the Dáil because all the politicians are away

WITH TAOISEACH ENDA Kenny making friends with Donald Trump in Washington this week and all the various ministers globetrotting to various cities, the Dáil is looking a bit empty this long weekend.

So a Facebook event has been set up for ages now to take advantage – and nearly 20,000 people are on board:

With Enda off to the Schtates to hang with Donny, Dail’s free for a Paddy’s weekend sesh. Key under the mat out back in case the front doors locked. Share the sesh, all welcome!

Nearly 10,000 people are confirmed going and over 11,000 are interested – so this is going some way to matching the early popularity of *that* Mass Facebook event last year.
