Facebook parties could be banned in Germany
THE PRACTICE OF promoting a party on Facebook could soon be banned in Germany after a string of gatherings got out of control.
Politicians want a ban imposed because of the threat to “public order and security” reports Der Spiegel. Last month around 1600 people showed up to a party in Hamburg after a teenager accidentally listed her 16th birthday party as a public event.
