This lad's Facebook got pranked and people think he's giving away All-Ireland tickets now
THE ALL-IRELAND Football Final between Dublin and Mayo is on in Croker on Sunday week – and tickets are already scarce around the country (or, at least, going for outrageous prices).
So, any offer of free tickets are going to be snapped up by fans desperate to be there on the day – as one Down man found out to his cost yesterday.
You see, Kevin Keenan’s Facebook was taken over by his close friend Marty – and the ensuing gag post has gone viral

The key to it being shared so much, of course, is that the text is believable enough to be taken seriously:
So, in the spirit of All-Ireland fever that’s gripping the nation, people have been sharing and tagging the post to death in the hope of getting their hands on the tickets.
Within a few hours, Kevin had taken to Facebook to let everyone know what had happened

But, unfortunately, barely anyone has seen the clarification and the original post has continued to go super viral throughout today.
Within 24 hours it had over 1000 shares and over 1000 likes – and with the “winner” announced on Sunday at noon, who knows how far this one is going to spread.
Eh, good luck to everyone who enters.
