Here's a new Facebook feature you'll actually like (seriously)
WITH ALL OF its recent changes and privacy issues, you’d forgive some people for getting a little tired of Facebook.
But trust us, there’s a new feature on the social networking site that you’ll actually like – no matter how you feel about Mark Zuckerberg. If you aren’t filled with nostalgic memories and misty-eyed with joy after enabling its ’2012 Year in Review’ feature, we’d recommend a trip to the cardiologist, because you might have a lump of stone behind your ribcage.
It compiles all your ‘best bits’ from the past 12 months, using photos and status updates, taking you on a virtual trip down memory lane.
The best bit? It throws up all sorts of things you’d forgotten about, like this postcard an unnamed TheJournal.ie staffer wrote as a child and got round to posting to their Facebook wall on 2 January 2012.
There’s even a bonus mention of Quinnsworth to inspire memories from even further back.
Sniff.
Dear tooth fairy,
I’m sorry but I have lost my old tooth
you will find it in Quinnsworth car park near the toilets
