Someone has made a cheeky Irish edit to the Wikipedia page for fanny packs
WE ALL LOVE to chuckle at the Americans and their ‘fanny packs’, while we here in Ireland use the slightly less mortifying term ‘bum bags’.
Or do we? Because according to the Wikipedia page for fanny packs, Irish people have a completely different word for them:
