The woman behind that fat-shaming viral video got ripped apart on a panel show

Poor Nicole.

THE COMEDIAN THAT went viral due to offending just about everyone with a ‘fat-shaming’ YouTube video appeared on US talkshow The View yesterday.

Think Loose Women, but with the likes of Whoopi Goldberg and Raven Symone.

Nicole Arbour appeared on the talkshow to defend her position, but the hosts weren’t having any of it.

Look at Raven’s FACE.

To open up proceedings, Arbour tried to make a joke, but host Whoopi Goldberg took her up on it. She was straight out asked if she was expecting the massive backlash she received.

Yes, that video was made to offend people, just the way I do with all the other videos, it’s just satire, I’m just being silly, I’m just having fun.
That topic was voted by people, and some of them are fat.

One comedian on the panel, Joy Behar, said she failed to see the satire behind it all.

I’m a comic, so if I’m gonna do a joke about a fat person I’m gonna say I’m fat first, you’re not fat, that’s the problem. You take it on yourself first, you didn’t do that. You kinda hide behind this ‘oh it’s not healthy’, that’s bull and you know it.

Her comeback?

The whole thing was a joke.

Arbour was then called into question by comedian Michelle Collins, asking about those who may have serious underlying reasons for their weight.
I would love to see you volunteer for an organisation to help kinds exercising and actually see you put your money where your mouth is.

We’re comedians, where is the satire? A skinny blonde girl, some of us have struggled with weight problems, watching you say it, it’s borderline bullying.
But Nicole argues that men could do this type of satire but she’s getting typecast as the ‘cocktail waitress’ for no reason.
It’s not bullying if you came to me.

Watch the full thing here, and prepare for some serious stink-eye.

The YouTuber didn’t seem too bothered by it all though, posing for a selfie with Whoopi Goldberg backstage.
