IT MIGHT NOT ever reach the level of quotability that Father Ted enjoys in Ireland, but Game of Thrones probably has equally as committed a fan base here.
So to satisfy everyone, an Irish production studio has created a Father Ted version of the GOT intro.
And it’s class
This is their second version of the intro from earlier in the summer – corrected because of a few typos – and they absolutely nailed it.
The land that we zoom in from above is, of course, Ireland
But in true GOT style.
And rising from the ground is the famous house on Craggy Island
And they didn’t forget the shipwreck on the coast
The attention to detail is A1
Every camera movement contains another reference to the show
