FRIDAYS ARE GREAT. Free food is great. Combine the two and you have something pretty spectacular, no?
Dawson Street restaurant Featherblade is known for its steaks, but is now branching out into burgers for the lunchtime crowd.
They say they worked on their new special, The Smokey, for eight months before sticking it on the menu. And it looks unreal:
Beechwood smoked brisket, aged striploin, caramelised onions, a dollop of house Bearnaise, and a beautifully soft brioche bap.
It’s almost indecent. Look at that Bearnaise!
To celebrate the new addition, they’re giving them away for free on Friday between 12pm and 3pm, or until they run out of burgers.
You’re advised to get down there early to avoid disappointment. *runs to Argos for a camping chair*
