WITH THE AMOUNT of new words being thrown around the internet every day, it’s no wonder Collins Dictionary has had to turn to Twitter to ask people which ones are good enough to make it in to their new edition.
They’ve compiled a shortlist of nine new words, which you can vote for with a tweet.
Some of the words on the shortlist include:
- Adorkable – dorky in an adorable way
- Duckface – the traditional ‘pouting’ facial expression in selfies
- Vaguebooking – posting a deliberately vague status updates on social media to prompt a response
- Felfie – a farmer selfie

Unsurprisingly the ‘felfie’ has taken off considerably here in Ireland. Just look at these snaps from farms across the country.
