Twitter users are sharing memories of their first festival - and the things they've learned since
FESTIVAL SEASON IS a glorious one, isn’t it?
Sitting outside all day, soaking up some sun (sometimes) and some SICK BEATS (sorry).
Do you remember your first one? Mine was actually Oxegen 2010 thanks to my mam. Arcade Fire, Eminem and Muse headlined. Diana Vickers was also there. John Mayer, much to my teenage chagrin, was not.
However, because I didn’t camp, I obviously didn’t get the fully-fledged festival experience … Such as someone crapping in your tent in Jimi Hendrix at Electric Picnic. (Still not over it. Will never be over it).
Anyway, others have been sharing their first festival experience on Twitter, and everything they’ve learned since then.
Rookie mistake. We don’t want to be that gal when it rains …
Yeah, prepare for your body to be rattled for at least a week, mate.
Portaloos. ‘Nuff said.
You wouldn’t get that in a hotel, that’s for sure. Well, you’d hope anyway.
If you fibbed to get off work to go … Maybe don’t get in any photos?
But don’t lie in the first place. But if you do, lie better. But we can’t condone lying, OBVS.
Literally, never EVER call it ‘The Picnic’.
