IF YOU COULD try any fictional food or drink, what would you go for?
The stuff dreamed up in movies, books and TV shows always sounds so delicious, so juicy, so magical – much better than what we have already.
True, there have been many attempts to recreate fictional foods in real life, but we’ll never know just exactly how delectable they were supposed to be.
Fizzy Lifting Drinks
Willy Wonka invented many amazing things, and Fizzy Lifting Drinks have to be up there with the best. Just don’t steal them from him.
Everything about them is genius. Who wouldn’t want the powers of flight, even for a short while?
Krabby Patties
Anyone who has ever watched Spongebob Squarepants knows that Krabby Patties are billed as the juiciest, most delicious burger ever. Even Squidward liked them.
Just one bite. Please.
Snozzberries
They taste like snozzberries, apparently. But how will we ever truly know if we don’t try them?
Lembas
It’s crazy filling, tastes amazing, and stays fresh for ages – no wonder the hobbits went mad for it in the Lord of the Rings.
Were lembas bread an actual thing, it would solve a whole lot of problems in the world.
Bertie Bott’s Every Flavour Beans
Out of all the wizard food ever mentioned in Harry Potter, the Every Flavour Beans were most intriguing. Snot flavour? Pepper flavour? Earwax?
Tubby custard
Tubby CUSTAAHHHHHD!
An odd choice, we’ll admit, but we bet everyone who ever caught a glimpse of Tubby custard wondered what it tasted like. We’re guessing strawberry-flavoured, creamy, delicious.
Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster
In the book the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, a Pan-Galactic Gargle Blaster (the “Best Drink in Existence”, according to the Guide) is described as such:
[Its effect] is like having your brains smashed out with a slice of lemon wrapped around a large gold brick.
Just something we personally might like to experience.
Scooby Snacks
OK, they were supposedly dog food, but Shaggy loved them too, didn’t he?
We just want to know what they’d taste like.
The Lost Boys’ feast in Hook
“You’re using your imagination, Peter.”
And there was some of the most fantastical, out-of-this world food you’d ever seen. What a feast. Pity they wasted most of it on a food fight. BANGARANG!
