WE’RE SO USED to haranguing those responsible for the banks in Ireland we’ve probably never paused to think about what they get up to on their days off.
It turns out bankers are real people too and the man charged with policing them in the aftermath of the banking crisis, Matthew Elderfield, is no different.
Today, taking a break from saying that Ireland’s banks may need more money, the 46-year-old was trying to look as inconspicuous as possible at the Forbidden Fruit festival in Kilmainham.
