Heartbreaking video of fireman helping burned cat with water
AFTER A BLAZE in Ensenada, Mexico, this tired fireman found a burned cat mewling pathetically for help.
He was off duty and had been working for 24 hours. But he wanted to help – so he filled a bottle of water, and tried to help the injured cat.
It’s not hard to see why this video is going viral:
The fireman, Juan Pérez Madrid, told El Vigia that he had to go back to fighting the flames immediately after tending to the injured animal – so he doesn’t know what happened to it.
“When I looked back he was gone,” he said. “But I think what I did I took some pain away, and I hope someone has found and rescued him.”
Pérez said he has now been nicknamed “Captain Whiskas” by colleagues.
