Five-year-old chef lands a job at TV3
STEP ASIDE JAMIE Oliver, there’s someone ready to take your throne. His name is Ciaran, he’s five years old, and he makes a mean chicken curry.
Ciaran Crawford is from Lifford in Co. Donegal and he’s Ireland newest, and youngest chef.
His dad Martin has been making videos of Ciaran cooking up a storm in their kitchen. His debut performance gave instructions on how to make an Irish stew and before long he was invited to appear on TV3′s This Morning show.
Martin has told The Irish Examiner that he was called by a TV3 producer and asked if Ciaran would like his recipes to have a regular slot for the next couple of weeks.
Chocolate chip muffins, BBQ ribs, mince and gravy and lasagne also feature in the five-year-old’s cooking repertoire.
