Eddie Rockets have opened a new bar and restaurant in Blackrock

Introducing… Flash Harry’s.

A NEW BAR and restaurant has opened its doors in Blackrock on Temple Road, and it comes from the people who brought you Eddie Rockets.

The joint, Flash Harry’s, opened last Thursday on and serves up burgers, wings, fries, and an array of cocktails.

Most of their burgers are €9.50, and include options such as a BBQ 50-50, made of half beef and half bacon. They also serve up burgers made of 100 percent Irish bison or a veggie option with sprouts, avocado and sweet chili jam.

Not only is the food promising, but the decor features murals by Irish graffiti artist ADW and flashy lights with nods to The Smiths and Tracy Emin

It also has a pretty sweet outdoor area and a foosball table

All in all, the reviews as it stands are quite good

Great menu, food is excellent. Can’t wait for more of those wings!! A welcome addition to my home town.

The premises was originally pegged to be a Counter burger, but was changed to Flash Harry’s. Does the name sound familiar? A Flash Harry’s used to stand in its spot in the 80s, opened by the man in charge of this one… Eddie Rockets founder Niall Fortune.
