WE LEARNED LAST week that seagulls are a growing problem in Ireland – shamelessly stealing children’s lollipops and attacking famous pop singers.

But we never thought they would stoop to interfering with pre-season friendlies on the football field.

The ball was kicked by Hibernians defender Callum Booth during a pre-season friendly at Dunfermline. The seagull recovered, and flew away afterwards to plot its revenge.
