EVERY WEEKDAY MORNING, DailyEdge.ie rounds up the best of the day’s celebrity dirt from the top to the very bottom.
Conor McGregor landed in at a student party in a Dublin nightclub on Monday night.
Conor, you’re about to be a dad! Surely you should be doing more…dad-like things?
The fighter made an appearance at Dicey’s on Harcourt Street for its Black Monday event (AKA college students going on a huge p*ss up to celebrate the start of term).
An ‘insider’ told Goss.ie that McGregor mainly stayed in the “older” section upstairs, but took time to pose for selfies with fans.
We wonder if he availed of the €2 drinks promotion?
Francis Brennan is in hot water after slagging off the entire county of Sligo. No, really. The whole county.
In an interview with his brother John in the Sunday Business Post, the hotelier and RTÉ presenter said Sligo people “wouldn’t work in a fit”:
My vision of Sligo is always outside the post office, 15 fellas smoking and collecting their dole. That’s my vision of Sligo because they wouldn’t work in a fit. They wouldn’t understand what we do in Kerry.
The Mayor of Sligo has since invited him to come and see what the county has to offer, but John Brennan says the point is still “absolutely correct”, and that Sligo isn’t as “imbued in tourism” as Kerry is. FIIIIIIIGHT. (Irish Independent)
David Beckham may be rich and famous and handsome, but he’s still as much of a dad as your own.
His son Brooklyn was recently doing a live Instagram stream for his 9.1 million followers (holy moly) when this comment popped up from his auld fella:
U should be at school
And he didn’t leave it at that:
That’s my shirt
Morto for ya, Brooklyn.
