Dublin people queue for hours for a free burrito

How long would you wait?

DUBLIN PEOPLE LOVE burritos. They love them.

They talk about them, dream about them, eulogise them when they’re gone… and this evening, they queued for them. In their droves.

Images of people queuing at Boojum on Kevin Street in the city centre for free burritos are doing the rounds on Twitter, fuelled partly by disbelief that someone might line up for an extended length of time for fast food that costs approximately €6.

Not everyone feels that it’s a wasteful exercise though.

For some, burritos are life:

For many, it was worth the wait:

But for some, it’s a step too far
