What to watch on TV tonight: Friday

This is the telly everyone will be talking about tomorrow.

DailyEdge.ie rounds up the TV shows that you’ll be tweeting about tonight and talking about tomorrow.

The Late Late Show (RTE 1, 9.35pm)

Pay attention people who constantly slag the Late Late Show, yet watch it every Friday. Tonight’s line-up is actually… pretty good? We’ve got Domhnall Gleeson, Vogue Williams, Dara O Briain, Roz Purcell, and a little-known woman called Hillary Clinton. Hey, we’re listening.

The Graham Norton Show (BBC 1, 10.35pm)

It’s baaaaaack. It’s been a long summer on Friday nights out, now it’s time to hibernate back into that sofa after a long week and maybe crack open a bottle of wine and pop the heating on. You deserve it. This is normality now. On tonight’s show, we have Reese Witherspoon, Margot Robbie, Bananarama, and the ride that is Ryan Gosling.

Never Been Kissed (e4, 8pm)

Literally the perfect Friday Night flick. Thank you, e4. Drew Barrymore stars as a reporter who goes undercover at a high school as a student. When she develops a crush, she can’t help but flash back to her horrible teen years. Perfect.

Everyone’s talking about… Louis Theroux’s new documentary

Louis Theroux is back and he’s taking on America’s opiate problem. His new documentary Dark States, Heroin Town, will air on Sunday, October 8.

He’ll follow the county’s dependence on opiates and how the government crackdown on prescription drugs is contributing to the problem. Sounds like a bleak but fascinating watch.

Or flick over for…

Cork City v Limerick (RTE 2, 7pm) Ah, real soccer.

Invictus Games 2017 (BBC 1, 8.30pm) All the footage from the games.

Up In The Air (BBC 1, 11.55pm) Romantic drama about a businessman who travels all around the country for his work, striving to achieve 10 million air miles. It’s more interesting than it sounds, and George Clooney is in it.

Gogglebox (Channel 4, 9pm) It’s not as good as the Irish version, but it’ll do.
