WE ARE COMING into prime holiday season ladies and gentlemen, and thank goodness for that.
Over the next couple of months the lucky among us will breathe a sigh of relief as they say goodbye to work and the stresses of everyday life for a week or so.
Holidays are a special time, so it’s no surprise that we all endeavour to thoroughly record them through our cameras and smartphones. However, the photographs don’t always turn out the way we had hoped.
Here are nine lessons we can learn about taking the best possible holiday snaps.
Be mindful of your surroundings
Be careful not to interrupt local wildlife
Feel free to use whatever you have with you as a prop to bring the photo together
Just be mindful of what the images will look like in the end
Consider the angle at which you photograph local landmarks
A stationary background will ensure there are no surprises
Try not to take the same photo everyone else does
Be creative - interact with your surroundings
Remember that your surroundings may also interact with you
