Feast your eyes on these cute critters…

DUBLIN ZOO’S Family Farm has been welcoming a host of new arrivals in the New Year.

The farm’s Tamworth pig Rosie gave birth to a litter of ten piglets last week. In the early days, the five males and five females stuck close to Rosie, but the Zoo says they’ve been getting braver (and bolder) by the day.

Family Farm team leader Eddie O’Brien said that the piglets “are full of beans” and are all healthy and making good progress.

A male Friesian calf was born at the farm yesterday and was suckling within three hours.

The Zoo’s Family Farm is a joint partnership between Dublin Zoo and Agri Aware. Check out the latest arrivals here:
