EARLIER THIS MONTH, honorary Irish man and sound lad Ed Sheeran revealed that he was looking for céilí dancers to star in a video for a new trad song from his album.
Later that week, the track list for ÷ featured a song called Galway Girl and people have put two and two together.
So on Monday, eight dancers from the Hession School of Irish Dance in Galway did their own audition on Facebook for the part.
And it’s absolutely blown up
It’s garnered nearly half a million views in less than two days

It starts off with Ed’s Shape Of You as a backing track
