A Galway pub is looking for the strong woman who managed to steal one of their steel bollards

She actually pulled it out of the ground. Diana Prince, is that you?

PUBS OFTEN HAVE to deal with customers tipsily stealing bar mats and signs and pint glasses. But a whole steel bollard? That’s new.

Yesterday, Carroll’s pub in Galway posted an intriguing bit of CCTV footage on their Facebook page.

The clip, recorded in the early hours of Wednesday morning, shows a woman heaving one of the steel bollards in front of the pub out of the ground.

She then toddles off, cradling it in her arms like you would a tiny baby:

Lots to stew on here. Is that man a willing accomplice, or does he disapprove of her antics? Is it very difficult to pull one of those out of the ground? And what does she so desperately need a steel bollard for that she would do that?

The pub is now trying to track the lady down – not to reprimand her, but to ask her a favour:

Can someone please tell us who this lady is? She has literally pulled our steel bollard out of the ground. We need her to help us lift our bus in the beer garden a couple of inches.
