AS YOU ARE likely aware, the Galway Races has been taking place all this week. Aside from being one of the biggest events on the horse-racing calendars, it’s also an excuse for many to put on a suit and drink lots and cause mayhem.

This year is no exception and some tweets from the festival are all kinds of grim and tragic.

People were anticipating the drinking
