Garth Brooks' wonderful gesture to a fan with cancer is guaranteed to make you forgive and forget

This is undeniably lovely.

GARTH BROOKS MAY have rubbed a few Irish fans up the wrong way after this year’s Croke Park fiasco, but this video is almost guaranteed to make you forgive and forget.

During his Minneapolis concert, the country star noticed a fan’s sign during a performance of The Dance.

It belonged to Teresea Shaw, a fan from Iowa who is currently receiving treatment for stage three breast cancer. It read:

Chemo this morning. Garth tonight. Enjoying ‘The Dance’.

Brooks–whose mother and sister died of cancer–wanted to keep the sign, so traded Teresa his guitar and offered her some words of encouragement.

You have all my strength. You have everybody’s strength in here, and you go kick cancer’s ass.

Skip to about 1.20 to see the lovely moment.
